when
*************
1. I'd love to figure out a way to be
able to play this in public during our vigils - anyone have any tech
access to pull it off? It's dramatic and informative.
2. A sobering review of a recent report
that concludes the Bush Administration's war on terrorism has failed
to make us safer - calling it a "failure of leadership."
3. This article is a review written by a
journalism professor who is interviewed in the film. Would be a good
one to pass along to anyone you are inviting to attend the showing on
October 28.
4. Dare we hope that the Bush
administration's attempt to link just about anything to the threat of
terrorist attack might backfire in their faces?
5. This helps put a little perspective on
the recent polls, or maybe I just desperately needed something to make
me feel better about the flip-flop in Bush's favor!
6. Apparently the torture at Guantanamo
was known as early as 2002, but as Rumsfeld points out, the terrorists
are so much worse. The moral of the story: As long as there is someone
doing something worse than you, you can be pretty bad and it's no big
deal. Funny, that line never worked with my mother......
