The Lakes Region Peace and Justice Group is a non-denominational group of people in central New Hampshire who share common concerns stemming from our nation's responses to the horrifying events of September 11, 2001.
These concerns include:

bulletmilitary action rather than alternate means of bringing the people responsible for the attacks to justice
bulletloss of more innocent lives as a result of the military action
bulletUS policies and practices that perpetuate the cycle of violence around the world
bulletthreats to civil liberties and erosion of protections guaranteed by the Bill of Rights
bulletattacks on Muslims and Arab-Americans, as well as ethnic profiling by law enforcement agencies

For more information about our meetings, or weekly vigil in downtown Laconia, contact Karen or Tom Barker at 603-528-8560, or  barkers@alumni.unh.edu
